I don’t mean to harp on knowing your numbers but…know your numbers.
What is the point of lifting the same weight over and over again for years?
You want progress? Then write it down.
Write down the notes coach gives you, write down the modifications to the workout, write down your max lifts. Otherwise, in a year you will still be at the starting line wondering why you can’t cross over to the finish.
It isn’t just about brute strength or will power. It’s about knowing where you are and how to get where you are going. You can’t do that unless you know your numbers.
And not to toot my own horn, but we do make the most wicked journals out there…
So what’s your excuse? Are you serious about those resolutions? Then get smart. Get writing.
