The goal is not to lift the heaviest weight or be the strongest person.
The goal is not to be the fastest or do the most work of anyone in the room.
The goal is to feel better, to be better than yesterday, to do things you couldn’t do last month – be it picking up your kids, conquering a flight of stairs or carrying your groceries.
The goal is to feel good, to be confident in yourself and to achieve positive change for yourself – however you may define that.
Don’t lose focus because of what someone else can do.
