Unlike seemingly popular convention, rest is not the enemy.
I can not say that enough.
If you aren’t building in rest how will you sustain your work and drive long term? You won’t.
You might think you will, you might think nothing will stop you and you can stay focused, but even if all that is true, you still won’t.
Why? Without rest you open up the door for injury. And once you are injured the road back takes far longer than a workout here or some runs there.
Keeping yourself healthy on this journey is just as important as hitting it hard.
Remember. Rest Is Not The Enemy.
